Job Description: Prime Therapeutics - Data Architect

Contract through end of year; extension conversion highly likely

This position is in the Data Architecture organization and will report to the Data Arch Director. We are looking for a senior-level data architect to join us on this exciting journey to help modernize our Data, Analytics and Reporting (DAR) ecosystem.

The data architect is responsible for the identification and development of enterprise data concepts in collaboration with business stakeholders, SMEs and business analysts. Along with the future state information and data vision of the program, the data architect will be responsible for the identification and development of canonical models, leveraging applicable industry standards such as HL7 FHIR and NCPDP.

In addition to delivering models and viewpoints for the modernization program effort, the data architect will assist in development of data architecture and information exchange standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Daily Responsibilities:

· Major initiative to focus on getting off legacy platforms and into the cloud but need to stand up a new platform to key member data uplifted and into a better holistic space. Currently 13 different data sources. Not sure on specific work stream this person will be tied to yet. This person must be able to play the data and solution architect lenses.

· Working to migrate cloudera and Teradata to Google Cloud. But there are some data needs that are more urgent so need to build around current environment.

· Want someone who has ER Studio modeling tools

· FHIR/HL7 not make or break – but they need to understand healthcare and PBM – works with claim, member, drug, pharmacy, etc data

Candidate Profile:

· 5+ years leading requirement elicitation, analysis and design of data concepts and data models

· 3+ years of experience with service-oriented and domain-driven design

· 3+ years of experience with canonical and message modeling

· Working knowledge of HL7, NCPDP or other healthcare information exchange standard

· Experience with PBM and/or health care domain (claim, drug, provider, network, contract)

· Experience leveraging and applying industry standards in support of B2B integrations (API, file, EDI)

· Experience with Scaled Agile framework

Technologies:

· ER/Studio modeling tools

· Pega Platform

· Cloudera or other Big Data distributions

· Denodo data virtualization

· Web Services and APIs (JSON, XML, XSD)

Qualifications (years of experience in field):
