Responsibilities: 1. Assist in coordinating multiple development work streams through integration and ensure architecture is scalable and extensible. 2. Define, maintain, and support Java development environment and best practices, such as Maven, Sonar, and other Open Source tools. 3. Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and nonproduction environment and perform troubleshooting. 4. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using Open Source frameworks. 5. Provide mentorship to junior team members. 6. Supply to continuous process improvement initiatives. Required Skills: 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 2. 3+ years of primary development experience (currently hands on) in Angular 2+, Typescript, CSS/SASS, NodeJS, Jasmine, Protractor. 3. 2+ years of Responsive & Progressive Modern Web application development. 4. 2+ years of API Development using Java / SpringMVC, NodeJS, Swagger. 5. Test Driven Development, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Junit. 6. Secure application development, build, deploy using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, etc. 7. Team player, self-starter, reciprocal, innovative, eager to learn every day. Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1. Scrum Developer certification 2. Understanding of Java, docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS) Additional Requirements: Candidates may be subject to background check and drug test.
