Looking for a decent scripter to create an automated daily report for batch jobs/scripts to share with higher ups and then work with those managers to suggest improvements in the scripts/batch jobs for better efficiency. Job Description: -Consultant will analyze the daily, weekly, and monthly FT data on all the batch jobs, for each client. -Determine average end times, durations, #s of records (whatever the right stats are) -ID SLA cutoffs and warning times -Work with the dev teams to make sure they are writing out standard batch status data/events to logs (started, percent done, completed successfully, total duration in minutes, end time, # of txns processed), then write the script (UNIX Shell, etc.) to build you a report that runs and emails to the team mailing list, every day at 6 am, 7am and 8am to tell you what jobs are complete, what time they completed, whats in progress (and what percent complete), and what has not kicked off yet that should have -WebSphere knowledge a plus -Ideally, teams and team managers get full details of their batches each day and then the same data is uses to create an error log report at the director level so you can see the issues at a glance Primarily an Oracle or ERTL DB but below are some more qualifications per your inquiry.
