The Office of Information Services (OIS) is a shared service provider for the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS). OIS provides the technology systems and services that support more than 16,000 OHA and ODHS agency staff at local offices and facilities around the state. These systems and services help the two agencies determine client service program eligibility; provide medical, housing, food and job assistance; provide addiction, mental health, vocational and rehabilitative services; protect children, seniors and people with physical and/or developmental disabilities; process claims and benefits; manage provider licensing and state hospital facilities; and promote and protect the state public health. The ONE and Legacy Integrated Test and Training Environments Project requires an experienced Architect IV, who will work on developing integrated environments to all Legacy systems to support development and unit testing, training for Authorized Purchaser staff and partners, as well as a new integrated user acceptance testing environment. This Project is set to expand the connectivity to three additional environments, for each Legacy application. An Integrated Development Environment will allow for the modernization of Legacy systems with collaboration between vendor staff working off-shore and Authorized Purchasers shared-services development teams. To comply with Secretary of State audit recommendations, this Project will define and create an integrated training environment, with the ability to receive and load manufactured data on a scheduled batch process. This Project will define requirements, processes, and tools to support data manufacturing and loading such data into the integrated training environments for all Legacy applications. An additional User Acceptance Testing Environment will provide more rapid turnaround on test-case scenarios while also allowing for parallel testing which can shorten the time for UAT when numerous builds and releases (including emergency releases) have short runway schedules. Scope: The Key Person will be tasked to do the following: OIS-SDD-Mainframe Environments Cookbook instructions must be documented at a level of detail that can easily replicate a mainframe environment and able to execute complete and comprehensive integration between all Legacy applications and client-server and Web-based applications that link to the core mainframe applications. Contractor shall design, document, and provide detailed information that ensures Authorized Purchaser can set-up integrated environment(s) to permit full data load testing. Contractor shall actively engage in ongoing discussions with system and business experts for the Legacy applications. Contractor shall document and facilitate decision making processes and finalize discussions between Authorized Purchaser system teams as further detailed in this SOW.
