The platform is being built in Java and RESTful Services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Data will be pouring in via Pub/Sub (similar to Kafka). They are using Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery and other native tools that will allow them to easily expand their capabilities and scale up. The internal stakeholders are using Tableau for data visualization. MUST have requirements: o Java o GCP experience - Big Query o RESTful Web Services Currently 46 people across 5 squads that comprise Data Engineering at EWS. Team is 100% focused on Transformation. Started the journey in August 2019. Team is responsible for Analytics on billings, operational metrics, usage, etc. EWS platforms include The Work Number (TWN) and all their Employer Services platforms that deal with compliance related matters for businesses across all industries. They provide reporting and data insights for Internal stakeholders such as the division President, Marketing, Sales and IT leaders.
