The successful candidate will eventually be an internal subject matter expert for all PLM system modules providing build, and run/ systems administration support to end users. DESCRIPTION: - The Senior PLM Systems Engineer will be focused on implementing and supporting a PLM (Product Life-cycle Management) platform for the regulated Medical Device business, including managing migrations for newly acquired businesses. - This position will work closely with external consultants, internal business teams from R&D and Supply Chain operations, business analysts, and internal shared IT teams to understand requirements, facilitate requirement gathering workshops, and elaborate requirements into functional and technical PLM solutions. - Serve as an internal subject matter expert for all PLM system modules providing build, and run/ systems administration support to end users in a managed services environment. - Own the PLM system in terms of system configuration and development - Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture, and development teams to work towards an efficient solution that meet business needs - Play the role of PLM application IT SME, work with internal infrastructure, ETL, Identity Management and DBA team on all technical issues - Lead the technical design and development of the integration between PLM layer and other enterprise applications like SAP, MDM, MDG - Be responsible for identifying and developing reports and analytics for the PLM solution - Work with R&D and Supply Chain Operations business teams to gather requirements for ongoing future enhancements and integrations - Conduct unit and system testing for all PLM related development components and coordinate and participate in user workshops, UAT and - Coordinate with internal IT managed services teams, and PLM IT support team to troubleshoot and resolve any system related issues as part of RUN support QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 8+ years of experience implementing PLM systems (Medical Device/ Life Sciences industries a HUGE PLUS!) - Strong Oracle Agile PLM experience is a must (ENOVIA PLM experience will be considered as a plus) - Understanding of FDA Computer Software Validation Experience in the design, configuration, administration, development and implementation of Oracle Agile PLM. - Experience in configuration of product attributes, defining privileges/roles, user groups etc. - Strong experience in Java, J2EE, Java Script technologies - Understanding of FDA Computer Software Validation - Experience in the design, configuration, administration, development and implementation of Oracle Agile PLM. - Experience in configuration of product attributes, defining privileges/roles, user groups etc. - Strong experience in Java, J2EE, Java Script technologies - Database knowledge (Oracle) - Operating Systems (Linux) - Application Server knowledge (Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic) - Performance, Scalability and Capacity knowledge - Experience in Project Management - Strong understanding of product development processes in Medical Device discrete manufacturing industries - includes engineering change management, BOM management, CAD data management, Supplier management, Program management, and Requirements management. - Experience with Oracle Agile upgrade processes and data migration - Experience in assisting with all aspects of a deployment including data migration, performance management, and infrastructure   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
