Description:

The Bureau of Enterprise Systems and Technology (BEST) require one Software Engineer 3 position from the IT Professional Services Master Agreement to assist with the implementation and ongoing support of the DSS/ImpaCT environments. The software engineer will report to the BEST Application Hosting supervisor. Off prime support required. The engagement is due to start 11/1/15 – 10/31/16. Duration is 1 year with a possible extension.

Responsibilities Include:

? Implementation
• Software deployment, support and maintenance of multiple web and application servers
• Implementation and configuration of new system interfaces for applications on multiple platforms
• Testing and troubleshooting web and application server configurations
? Support
• Application code deployment
• Identify, analyze and resolve technical problems
• Change management processes

? Documentation
• Create, modify and maintain application and technology process flow diagrams
• Create, modify and maintain web and application support procedures

Skills/Experience required:
• .Net
• IIS 7.5
• Java / JBOSS
• IBM WebSphere Application Server
• IBM WebSphere Network Deployment
• IBM WebSphere Portal Server
• IBM Certified System Administrator preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
