Position Summary The Application Developer produces the BW service / process design artifacts, develops and unit tests the code, supports QA and Performance testing efforts, executes / supports the Change and Release processes, and provides production operational support to Level 2 as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Adhere to architecture design, guidelines and best practices - Scope projected work for projects and forecast the effort need - Utilize and develop reusable components for the Enterprise - Drive requirements analysis activities and develop the design of complex integration components. Produce and present documentation for these components. - Consult with Integration Architecture on designs - Develop recommendations for solutions including pros and cons - Support Integration Architecture in vendor selection and product evaluation - Provide technical and professional leadership and coach junior developers - Troubleshoot operational issues in both test and production environments - Adhere to team SDLC processes and artifacts. Be a champion for the process. - Follow Change Management and Release Management for assigned projects - Collaborate with DCIOs to deliver quality services and partnering during upgrades. - Foster and encourages solution reuse at the Enterprise level - Recommend improvements and drive alignment across the IT organization. - Contribute to team processes and standard practices related to the design, development, and implementation of application solutions and patterns. - Perform application service life cycle planning including upgrades, versioning, phase out, and retirement. Qualifications: - Strong communications skills (technical and non-technical) - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Must have 3+ years of end to end, hands on design, development and implementation experience with enterprise application integration solutions - Must have 3+ years of experiences with deep technical skills in multiple integration middleware technologies TIBCO BusinessWorks, BusinessEvents, Enterprise Message Service, BusinessConnect, SilverFabric, HAWK and BW Administrator - Must have system tuning experience with a good understanding of JVM, server CPU, memory, IO key performance indicators - Must have JAVA, XML, JSON, Oracle database SQL development skills - Experience in other integration middleware technologies; IBM (such as MQ), CA (such as XCOM, Layer7 service gateway) is a plus - Web application development skills is also a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
