These web services can be used internally within Wells Fargo, or by partner web sites and applications outside of Wells Fargo. Acts as an escalation point for production troubleshooting guidance; provides training and mentoring to less experienced developers. Works with a team of developers to implement the services. Evaluates systems specifications for client web application requirements, contributes to design, and implements, and unit-tests a solution based on established platform standards. On some projects, coordinates with systems partners outside the group. Uses programming environments to develop application code. Is aware of web security concerns and adheres to established standards. May use knowledge of web technologies to lead projects resulting in functional enhancements of web-based applications. May help production support to find root causes of issues by analyzing code and data. Unit tests code they have written, and supports Systems Integration Testing by executing test scenarios and resolving defects. Supports the Quality Assurance team by resolving defects and providing defect status. Familiar with web service testing tools, JASON request and response formats, XML, web service testing tools, and specifications such as RAML. Required Skills - 5+ years demonstrated coding experience with Java, or Spring TC Server, JSP, and XML on public-facing web applications and web services. - 1+ years demonstrated experience with Spring (MVC, Dependency Injection/IOC, AOP) - 1+ years demonstrated experience with web service development - Demonstrated experience with full development lifecycle - Demonstrated experience with software development environments such as Eclipse Preferred Skills - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - 1+ years demonstrated experience with Spring Boot, RAML, Swagger, JSON, RESTful APIs - 1+ years demonstrated experience with Oracle/PL-SQL - Demonstrated experience with Spring TC Server, Spring Webflow, AJAX, JMS, JAXB. - Familiarity with testing frameworks such Dredd and TestNG and test-driven development - Demonstrated experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies - Self-directed and does not need constant mentorship. Desirable Skills/Experience - Knowledge of the Wells Fargo OSMP or CCSSP platforms, and how applications are implemented on those platforms - Knowledge of Wells Fargo back end platforms, especially SOR web services, and external partner interfaces. - Knowledge of the Wells Fargo business: application for products and their application flows, and recognition of many compliance and security issues - Either prior familiarity or ability to quickly learn banking processes, and online sales and support of banking products.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
