This position will be able to work with internal and external customers to develop systems to required business specifications. This position must have a wide range of technical knowledge, however a specific focus on industry best practices technologies are preferred such as Trackwise 7.0 or 8.0; TeamCenter Enterprise and TeamCenter Unified Platforms. Must have a good business knowledge base to understand business vision and long term business strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for the following: Manage large complex technical projects over multiple platforms. Is the expert technical counsel and leader. Will implement diverse global solutions, and develop skills for self, peers and subordinates. 1. Support strategic approaches and maintain alignment in development projects with enterprise strategic direction and application architecture 2. Assume a leadership role in establishing and insuring compliance with IT governance policies and initiatives including standards and best practices 3. Document the desired state of application architecture, and document the gaps between current and future states 4. Anticipate and work with the business on emerging needs and provide information technology tool recommendations to the business 5. Work with IT and business representatives to identify opportunities leading to the design and development of tools and applications 6. Lead activities with external vendors and internal teams to identify, evaluate and recommend system hardware and software 7. Provide technical/architectural mentoring and coaching to team members by identifying development opportunities and though one-on-one coaching Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below is a list of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities that are required. 1. Detailed knowledge of systems; applications and/or components 2. Experience with Oracle 10g+, Unix, Wintel, VM 3. Ability to quickly learn and understand companys business and processes 4. Extensive experience with Java, JSP, J2EE, EJB, XML 5. Proficient in software development methodologies and possesses the ability to disseminate them to a team 6. Understanding of workflow logical models 7. Detail understanding of Environment management, i.e. (QA, Production, Development) 8. Strong Communication Skills, written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business or management terms. 9. Experience with enterprise type applications, i.e. Trackwise, Teamcenter, ERP etc… 10. Detail understanding of integration with AIP and operational warehouse 11. Ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-team activities simultaneously, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility. 12. Ability to deliver innovative technology solutions. 13. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills 14. Must be able to review and analyze current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic objectives of a business organization 15. Understanding internal and external customer needs, and designing computer and network systems that provide flexibility to implement core business applications. 16. Perform system and network modeling 17. Understanding and experience with CMII and Six Sigma methodolgies 18. Common web protocols, such as Http, Https, SOAp, etc. 19.
