If in the opinion of the State, such information was intended to mislead the State in its evaluation of the proposal, and the attribute, condition of capability as a requirement of this proposal, the proposal shall be rejected.] Description: Maintain and Coordinate technical activities to support the Traffic Crash Reporting (Crash) modules: Crash Web, Traffic Crash Reporting System, Traffic Crash Purchasing System, Traffic Crash Mapping System, and Traffic Crash Locating System – also known as the Traffic Crash Suite. Background on the work requested: The Traffic Crash Suite of products support the capturing of crash data, the application of quality control and quality analysis process, the location of the crash using a linear referencing tool and mapping tool, and the reporting of the crash data to various State of Michigan agencies and the general public. Traffic Crash Suite utilizes various technologies to support the following: * Crash Web: This web site is used to provide a Crash Reporting tool that is utilized by the State and Local Law Enforcement agencies – Websphere / JAVA / Oracle * Traffic Crash Purchasing System (TCPS): This web site is used to provide the general public and insurance companies with the ability to to purchase crash reports (UD10s) – Websphere / JAVA / Oracle * UD10 Web Service: A secured service that retrieves electronic versions of the crash reports to be utilized by authorized User Group communities – .NET / C# / Oracle. * Traffic Crash Reporting System (TCRS): Client/Server application used to monitor, report, analyze, and correct crash reports - PowerBuilder * Traffic Crash Mapping System (TCMS): a mapping application used to assist with the location of crashes using various referencing tools - .NET / C# / TatukGIS / Oracle. * Traffic Crash Locating System (TCLS): Utilizes the street on and closest intersecting street to locate the crash using linear referencing data. Once the crash is located, longitude/latitude coordinates are also obtained – Oracle / SOAP * Batch Processing and Interfaces: A third party scheduling software (UC4) is utilized to execute a nightly schedule. Interface files utilize FTP protocol to support the sharing of data with various user groups – UC4 / Unix Scripts / FTP protocol. * TCRS OLTP/DM: Oracle databases are used to host the Crash data. An Online Transaction Processing and a Datamart Reporting database are used to host the processed data. Extensive use of Oracle Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers support the various features utilized by the Traffic Crash Suite.
