Job Description :



Projects:

Team is branded card under the Authorization vertical. Team is responsible for the alerts (push notifications or email) that confirm any changes to the visa/mastercard users (such as address change, password change, etc). This application is internal to Capital One but coded within Java.



Mostly back end, not a lot of front end (everyone does devops, 75% coding 25% devops, and Unit Testing of code). Team is full stack, but they are comfortable training up in AWS if someone does lack experience.



• Cloud experience (AWS is preferred)

• Streaming Protocols (Spark or other, and kafka are plus )

• More interested in strong communicator, go-getter with solid programming foundations

• CI/CD experience is needed, and Jenkins software exp. is a plus



Top 3 skills

· Java (or Python) – API Development

· Jenkins/Maven CI/CD Experience

· Unit Testing Experience

· Agile Development Experience

Responsibilities:

· Team efforts include building new features as well as maintaining the cloud infrastructure and applications.

· Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.

· Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.

· Responsible for overall application design and architecture, including interfaces with other applications and systems.

· Assures that application designs are consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).

· Oversight

· Coordinating others work while involved with multiple work streams
