The technology is scalable and reusable and aligns to Wells Fargo enterprise standards and practices along with the Lending Grid service oriented architecture. The responsibilities of the role require a technically savvy software engineer with strong leadership traits and characteristics to understand the strategic and operational goals of our business and technology partners. The role will partner with team members throughout the development lifecycle to facilitate discussions, assess needs, and design/develop/support innovative technology solutions. LBS is Within the Lending area of the Technology and Operations Group (TOG). LBS is responsible a horizontal platform of capabilities via the Lending Grid to serve the Wells Fargo enterprise. The Loan Process Automation (LPA) application is a highly visible platform leveraged within Home Equity (HEQ), Personal Credit Management (PCM) and Educational Finance Services (EFS) as an essential solution to connect internal business partners with HEQ mortgage account and pricing information. The LPA web services are continuously evolving to align with the ever-changing needs of our customer, industry and business and technology partners. Required Skills: Service oriented architecture experience; familiarity with different architectures (e.g. SOAP, event-based, etc.) Strong experience developing solutions on a web application platform Architecture/design and development expertise in the following web technologies: Java, RDBMS, Spring, Hibernate, MQ Messaging, MVC and/or XML Ability to assess and solve problems, grasp concepts quickly, and architect and design solutions Facilitation skills to lead discussions that result in group consensus and buy-in Documentation skills to draft artifacts with the clarity understood by business partners and the detail essential to technology partners Project discipline to plan and follow-up design and development-related activites Leadership traits and characteristics to effectively partner with multiple contributors across various organizational levels and functional areas of expertise Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Wells Fargo Home Equity and/or Wells Fargo Home Mortgage mortgage data and lending processes Relationship management experience with business partners (SMES, stakeholders, PMs) and technology partners (architects, data analysts, application developers, QA analysts) Development expertise in the following web technologies: BLAZE/DROOLS business rules engine, JSF, Struts, SVN version control, WebLogic and Tomcat, etc.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
