Design, develop and implement web service APIs that will facilitate person linkage and data sharing across. ii. Design, develop and implement an API to match demographic data between the Clinical Health Information Exchange (CHIE) and DOHMPI. iii. Develop a web API layer to support the exchange of non-transport data from the CHIE. iv. Rapidly develop SMART-on-FHIR prototypes to support health information exchange between the external systems. v. Assist in working with national agencies to test the prototypes and provide input on vital records related FHIR Implementation Guides (IG). The ideal candidate: • Has a BS or MS plus 3 years working in real-world, agile, software development environments. • Has exceptional software development skills, with demonstrated project experience using emerging and traditional technologies such as Node.js, Docker, Java 8+, JavaScript, REST, Postman, and/or Spring Boot. • Is experienced in the development of RESTful APIs. Experience with HL7s Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard and other health IT standards is a plus. • Expertise in industry standard IDEs (like Eclipse, IntelliJ) for debugging and using java coding standards from the beginning of the development. • 4+ years of experience in a database technology • Develops quality code leveraging source control, testing, and clear documentation. • Has full-stack web development experience using open-source tools. • Experience with version-control systems,like GitLab, for tracking source code changes. • Experience in developing software requirements and architectures, and leading tasks and projects is a plus.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
