Job Description Engineer: Java, SOA, Web Services, SAML 1.1 & 2.0

Description:

As a consultant, this position will be responsible for the engineering, system development, configuration management and technical administration of DataPower SOA appliances . This role will work closely with Senior developers and Engineers within the technology teams to implement the NextGen initiative on DataPower Appliances

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
At least 6 years in software development and at least 1 year hands-on experience in engineering, development, administration or implementation of an SOA/ESB solution (IBM DataPower)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
Proficient in Java and SOA technologies , Web Services and ESB design patterns, SAML 1.1 & 2.0, WS-Trust, STS, SOAP, WSDLs, XML, REST ,WS-* standards, Service Governance.
Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc), PKI concepts and SSL
Knowledge of Service Mediation techniques using DataPower or other ESBs and experience in design, architecture, and implementation of systems using DataPower
Familiar with DataPower configurations for Web Service Proxies, XML firewalls, multi-protocol gateways
Experience with Agile development methodology and knowledge of general networking concepts
Self motivated, good written and verbal communication
Background in Banking or Financial industry
