Understanding the business owners needs, translating them into clear specifications, determining viable solutions and ensuring that the solution is correct are the key responsibilities of this role. Demonstrating service excellence, a pro-active and collaborative approach to service delivery, and a strong customer focus are all mandatory for the incumbent of this role. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem solving, an aptitude for picking up new skills and an ability to make sense of technical and business concepts. Responsibilities • Gain an understanding of the technical architecture and all components of the assigned applications • Ensure that documentation meets business needs • Issue tracking and follow up • Communications coordination • Keep up to date on job related technical issues, new trends, and product directions and be a resource for other team members • Design and develop solutions that clearly address the business objectives identified • Research and documentation of findings • Test case development • Business process documentation • Meeting facilitation and coordination including scheduling, supporting, and taking meeting minutes Qualification: Include a detailed description of the experience and skills required. Use additional space if needed. • Excellent problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A general understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns and development methodologies • Minimum 4+ years application development. Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, SOA, advanced design patterns, and Web services preferred. • Aptitude for learning new skills • Good research and writing skills • UML experience beneficial • Experience with the design and execution of test and use cases • Project management experience desirable • Excellent interviewing and facilitation skills for gathering detailed, comprehensive requirements Must be able to work as part of a team   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
