This includes reviewing external vendor requirements, contributing to technical design documentation, coding, unit testing, conducting development-led integration testing, and defect resolution throughout all phases. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in server-side (integration/controller layer) web development and a working knowledge of single sign-on concepts. Should be self-motivated & proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills, organized with an ability to handle multiple tasks. The primary location for this role is Smith field, RI. Primary Responsibilities Perform software development using Java technologies Project focus will be on the design and development of new SSO connections Develop concise and clear technical design documents based on analysis of business and vendor requirements Develop and implement technical solutions for a customer facing web application. Follow quality-driven processes including collaborative code design review Provide application support through defect analysis and resolution, impact analysis of technology obsolescence, and assessment of newer software technologies Participate in reviewing compliance with IT governance policies and guidelines. Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including UI, Architecture, QA, and development teams from other organizations in a fast paced, highly matrix environment Adhere to project timelines, addressing and resolving technical issues Participate in functional/technical group discussions with analysts and developers Deliver on projects and also participate in support tasks/activities. Technical Skills and Knowledge Java/J2EE XML Web services integration such as SOAP and RESTful Spring MVC Framework JSON JQuery iBatis Veracode and SONAR software scanning tools Knowledge of OAuth, oSAML, SAML 2.0 and WSO2 concepts (highly desirable) Ping Federate (highly desirable) Eclipse STS GIT/Stash; Jenkins Fiddler and/or HTTP Watch Required Experience: 6+ years of web application development experience 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer on Angular 1.5/2+ and JavaScript Financial Services experience a plus Exposure to Agile development methodology is a plus Experience with Single Sign-On technologies, especially SAML 2.0 Experience with Web Services, XML Messaging, WSDL Experience with Java 8, Spring 3.0 and Spring Boot Education:   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
