Java/J2EE SOA Restful Web Services Spring Framework Unit Testing Web Technologies SCR   Requirement id 62738 Job title Consultant Job location in Horsham, PA Skills required Java/J2EE, SOA, Restful, Web Services Spring Framework Unit Testi Open Date 19-Jul-2017 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Face to Face interview    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Consultant: Java/J2EE, SOA, Restful, Web Services Spring Framework Unit Testi Client Info : UHG UnitedHealth Group IT Job Description : Client: UHG Location: Horsham, PA Position: Sr. Java/BPM developer Duration: 6 Months Contract What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing • Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions • Develop code using modern approaches to software development • Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries • Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance • Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team • Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team to promote modern approaches to software development • Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership • Estimate engineering work effort for engineering team and effectively identify and prioritize the high impact tasks • Drive a quality mindset within the team Required: • 3+ years experience with jBPM and Drools • 9 years of strong hand-on experience with Java Enterprise Edition (Java/J2EE) and web technologies Spring, JBoss, service-oriented architectures (SOA), RESTful Web Services 6+ years of experience with the Spring frameworks • 6+ years of experience with automated unit testing technologies (Such as JUnit, Spock, or similar) • 6+ years of experience with mock data frameworks for unit testing Demonstrated success in building design patterns and software engineering best practices, especially related to business process management and rules management Knowledge of web security, application security, web services security, common vulnerability remediation, certificate management and use Nice to Have: • Solid experience with all aspects of web and distributed application development • Strong knowledge of programming and software engineering knowledge; OO Design Principles, core OOPS, JEE Design patterns as well as their implementation in real world applications • Hands- on Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment Strategies • Proven experience to automate build/deploy/release process and find ways to automate and improve our pipeline at every step • Solid background in applications development methodologies, SDLC, Agile Methodology: SCRUM and other IT industry standards Experience in test first development and pair programming • Experience building Cloud applications (PaaS) • Strong communication skills • Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems • Experience translating business requirements into value-added, high-performing technical solutions in the health care sector • Extremely organized with a strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines • Independent/go-getter attitude to keep yourself well-versed with new evolving technologies in application development landscape and be able to define how some of them can help in improving the work you are a part of now or in future • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpretive skills,   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
