This particular role requires providing integration with vendor provided HIPAA translator within the confines of an existing infrastructure and Architecture framework. Must be able to work independently and must be a quick starter. This is a short-term contract for a duration 4-5 months. JOB DUTIES (Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities): • Design, Develop, and Test the integration functionality. • Communicate Work Status on a regular basis to the Project Manager and other stake holders. • Adhere to Project Plan and complete assigned development tasks in a timely manner. • Develop necessary documentation that includes all design artifacts, test suites, test results and deployment guide. • Ensure software development lifecycle and standards are followed. • Able to communicate and manage prioritization, analysis, design, code and deployment of code changes. • Work collaboratively with application team, business partners, vendor team and other technical teams. • Provide appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer to the technical support teams. • Coordinate deployment of application changes to production environment using appropriate change and release management processes. REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge): • Must have solid development experience in Core Java • Must have solid development experience building Java/J2EE based distributed applications, Web based applications, SOAP, REST Services • Good understanding and experience working on J2EE application servers such as Tomcat, JBOSS and WebLogic • Good understanding of Oracle Databases and ability to write complex SQL queries against Oracle databases • Must have worked on building and configuring Adapters on Oracle Service Bus • Must have worked on developing solutions using message transformations using XSLT - transforming XML messages from one format to another. • A solid understanding of HIPAA 5010 domain knowledge specifically 837P, 837I, 277, 835 transactions. Should have good understanding of the message formats for these transactions. • A good understanding and experience with Open Source frameworks such as Spring is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years Experience, Certificates): • Undergraduate degree or higher in Information Technology / Computer Science or a related field. • Minimum (5) five years of extensive hands-on experience with application integration using Oracle Service Bus.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
