Job Description Developer: Java Developer, WEB Application, Java/J2EE,

( NOTE : Must obtain Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certification within 30 days of the offer )


Client: HP / USDA

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: 7 months

Work Status: US Citizen (preferred) or Green Card

Interview Process: Phone interview, then Skype interview

Seeking candidates for a Java Developer opening in Kansas City, MO for a 7 month contract.

Responsibilities:

* Work with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements.

* Create test plans and test cases and maintain traceability to requirements.

* Create prototypes to validate requirements.

* Design and document technical solutions to business problems.

* Analyze requirements and propose changes to data model as required by design.

* Construct browser-based web applications using Java/J2EE using frameworks and technologies.

* Develop comprehensive automated unit tests for all software developed.

* Respond to problems by researching issues and developing solution to the problems.

* Use government-approved tools for development

Requirements:

* 7 years of experience as a Java Developer

* Experience constructing browser-based web applications using Java/J2EE framework and technologies.
