JOB DESCRIPTION:



Required:

· 3-5 years of experience in JAVA, SCALA, and/or Python Development, with experience in Data Management and Analytics.

· Strong SQL/HQL/CQL skills.

· Experience with Apache Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Spark).

· Experience with Ambari Server and Teradata in Cloud

· Knowledge of ETL tools, and patterns (Versioning, Partitioning).

· Knowledge of JSON, csv, xml file formats, and converting between them.

· Experience with back of house applications (not just front-end development).


Preferred:

· Experience with Code Management Tools (GIT / Stash etc.)

· Knowledge of Avro, Parquet, and ORC.

· Experience with SPARK Streaming.

· Experience in a secured data platform (Kerberos, SASL, Authz, TLS).

· Knowledge of data modeling and metadata management.
