Job Description Developer: Senior Java Full Stack Developers, REST Web Services, Java, Spring Boot JSON Elastic Search GIT Jenk

Note:

Responsibilities

Are you a tech & IT geek? We have a project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior Java Developer

Design and Implement REST web-services using Java, Sprint Boot, JSON and ElasticSearch for the Medical Transparency Website project

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

· Design, Build and Implement highly scalable Java REST APIs using ElasticSearch.

· Assist the State Architect in building data structures for low latency applications using ElasticSearch and ElasticCache.

· Build java-based applications using Spring Framework with integration to ElasticSearch.

· Write complex queries with joins and aggregate that deals with large datasets.

· Build and Deploy Java REST APIs using DevOps automation tools such as Git, Jenkins & Artifactory.

· Design and develop low-level API interfaces.

· Design and develop low-level data structures using JSON.

Mandatory Qualifications:

· Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.

· 60 - 84 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 48 Months of Experience in developing Java REST-based APIs

· 24 Months of Experience in designing and developing Java-based applications using ElasticSearch

· 60 Months of Experience in developing Java-based MVC web applications using Spring Framework

· 36 Months of Experience in designing data models using JSON

· 36 Months of Experience in building automation scripts and deploying Java-based web applications using DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins & Artifactory

· 24 Months of Experience in designing and developing solutions using the Elastic stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana & Logstash)

· 24 Months of Experience in creating indexes and analytics on ElasticSearch data

· 36 Months of Experience in advanced database design, data modeling and data integration

· 24 Months of Experience in distributed logging and metrics framework

· Bachelors Degree

Native or bilingual proficiency
