They are responsible for analysis, design, coding, component, and assembly testing of application code. They are typically involved in development and maintenance (including production support). They must also have a detailed understanding of processes which support the software development lifecycle. This developer will work with other team members in designing and delivering the milestone applications needed to support the tracking/monitoring for Community Housing and Development. CHD is a customizable system to collect data, share files, provide a back-and-forth dialog with grantees. Its a tool to simplify grant tracking, monitoring and reporting processes that will provide real time access to project data and will be useful for internal and external clients. • Centralized system will create more efficiency and security in monitoring of grantees and reporting to funders • Ability to review and analyze submitted reports with functionality to aggregate reports from multiple grantees to submit one report for PA to funders on time. • System will help to ensure DCED oversight of subrecipients CARES Act funding and develop system to assist with HUD compliance. This developer MUST be willing to work alongside of a team. Motivation is going to be key in this role. Being clear about where they are at in terms of their work is going to be extremely important. This person will be able to complete their work on their own (no hand holding) but they will need to collaborate alongside team members. Work will include designing and creating application code and solutions with the latest technologies and development patterns that the Microsoft .NET platform has to offer. This person needs to be skilled to go into the code and change the code without breaking it.
