We are looking for someone who: Can analyse existing java-based applications in order to direct a team of developers through the creation and maintenance of a rolling 90 technology improvement roadmap Can diagnose problems and define technical solutions while delivering clear specifications Is familiar with WebSphere Commerce (6&7) with recent experience in implementing and maintaining the platform with a focus on the application layer and a view to the infrastructure Is able to identify and define solutions to supporting applications in the Ecommerce suite, utilising best-of-breed J2EE standards and frameworks Is able to proactively initiate issue reduction initiatives across multiple applications Has an expert level of knowledge in relation to data integration, web services and database optimisation Has experience implementing search engines and content management systems Has general web application design and delivery experience Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and is able to engage with and manage the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders Qualifications This person is likely to have the following background: 6-9 years experience working in a technical capacity within the application development space Agile methodology Experience designing and leading web technology support projects Experience working for, or closely with enterprise digital technology vendors Degree in IT or Engineering   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
