The person filling in this position will lead the way in developing next generation tools that would interact with mobile platforms. The position will focus on the cross platform and Build tools, and have the added benefit of working with a team experienced in all major and emerging mobile platforms. Minimum Years of relevant expertise: 2-5 years Responsibilities: Design/Develop plug-in tools that would interact with a variety of tools Generate plug-ins for development tools like Eclipse, Jenkins, Electric Commander, VMware etc Tool automations that can work on cross platforms Automate daily operational tasks Design and prepare emulators for mobile platforms Prepare operational tools that helps in delivering high-quality Android platform Requirements: Development experience with Java and a solid understanding of thread-safety and memory management. Experience with third party library integration (such as Red Laser, etc.), and understanding of Web Oriented Architecture services (REST, JSON, API/Web-Services). Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture Have experience or strong familiarity with cross platform development Candidate must be good on core apps framework / architecture design Experience/exposure to Python/Django development framework Experience working with backend technologies (e.g., webservices, RoR, Groovy, Python) Excellent scripting technology expertise (Python, Shell, Perl) HTML5, CSS3, Javascript with relevant web development is a plus Solid understanding of Model-View Controller frameworks for separation of presentation and content Worked in Agile SCRUM environment and Test Driven Development. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required to resolve complex issues. Possess excellent communication skills. Must be a team player with superb interpersonal skills.
