They are responsible for all aspects of front-end look and feel, functionality and 508 compliance. They are typically involved in development and maintenance (including production support). They must also have a detailed understanding of processes which support the software development lifecycle. This developer will work with other team members in designing and delivering the milestones of application needed to support the federally funded program, WAP. Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) application is the way for nonprofit agencies to manage weatherization cases for PA residents. The PA Dept of Economic Development manages the work of outside agencies within the application as well. The system is a role driven, with custom reports, notification, uploads, etc. WAP utilizes responsive design, so it can be viewed on phones, tablets, etc. and it is 508 compliant, to support users who are hearing impaired, have low vision, etc. This developer MUST be willing to work alongside of a team. Motivation is going to be key in this role. Being clear about where they are at in terms of their work is going to be extremely important. This person will be able to complete their work on their own (no hand-holding) but they will need to collaborate alongside team members. Work will include designing and creating application code and solutions with the stack of technologies mentioned below and development patterns that the Microsoft .NET platform has to offer. Person will be responsible for unit and regressive testing of the system.
