Position Description: The position requires equally strong testing experience, technical savvy, and communication skills. The tester supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy and requires strong knowledge of testing best practices. Tester is responsible for supporting test automation efforts and providing feedback on test artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects. The tester should identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage. While the tester is expected to do some manual testing, the role requires a foundation of strong test automation skills involving Selenium, WebDriver, Java/JavaScript and associated technologies. Mobile automation experience with Appium is a plus, as is experience operating as a standalone tester or leading a team of testers. A strong understanding of good UI modeling and element locating strategies is essential. The role requires the ability to interact with application teams and individuals, ensuring best practices such as opportunities to increase unit test and integration test coverage and leading the introduction of new concepts.
