The TIBCO Developer will design and develop TIBCO components to process data between internal and external Investment applications. The developer will also be asked to assist junior team members in work assignments. In addition to leveraging the TIBCO suite of products, the developer will be expected to understand and comply with development and documentation standards, adhere to the SDLC and ensure best practices are being followed. The Developer may also be required to provide application support. Individual must be able to prioritize production support and project initiatives seamlessly. Additional Responsibilities Include: Participate in the engineering of new solutions Collaborate with the Investment Technology Business/Systems Analysts (BSA) and Business users to ensure the development efforts are aligned with the business requirements. Provide proactive solutions to address potential issues Create and maintain technology and application documentation Assist with the delivery of detailed design documents. Understand and follow change control processes for management of changes Ensure code reviews are conducted and certify that code meets quality standards. Competencies / abilities required: Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle processes Ability to work well in a team environment Knowledge or previous experience with Allstate a plus Capital Markets experience a plus Financial Services experience a plus Ability to effectively work with other developers both onsite and remotely.
