As a Front-End Developer, the candidate will have responsibility for assisting with the co-development of a complex GUI for Opus, working to create a seamless and elegant front-end experience of the Opus application for a diverse user base. The candidate will work closely with the UX Designer, Business Analysts, and Back-End Developers, and will be responsible for standardizing the UI approach (structure, process, standards, methodologies) and guiding the efforts of less experienced developers. Typical duties include: * Developing GUI to back end business logic and cross-browser compatible interfaces * Standardize and modularize the UI code for Opus, using the React framework * Improve adherence to UCLA accessibility requirements & responsive design * Applying best practices in HTML, CSS, XHML, AJAX, and Javascript * Enhance GUI to meet business objectives Qualification Candidate should possess the following skills and experience * Ability to work independently on large scale, complex projects with minimal supervision * Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels in a collaborative team environment * Minimum 5 years of hands-on UI development experience * Programming experience with JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, CSS, MVC for front-end development, JSON, AJAX * Programming experience with React/Redux a must * Experience in meeting accessibility and responsive web design principles * Experience with front end testing and debugging techniques Notes : Local candidates first, then relo, Looking to interview Friday 5/4 or early next week   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
