This is an exciting Software Engineer in Test opportunity on our Clients Scrum team responsible for building and supporting email, chat and web call back functionalities. As a SET you will be applying your strong software development and test automation skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve PI customer-facing software solutions. You will also be enabling your Scrum team in adopting test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure we are building the right product the right way. The Ideal Candidate Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end customer experience Owns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks (Ruby, Cucumber, Javascript/Angular, HTTP, RESTful web services) Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code Self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented Keenly interested in learning new technologies and their adoption Able to work with remote and international team members Primary Responsibilities Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests Support the team in designing reliable, portable, accurate and dependable tests, and in integrating them into CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with team members on improving teams test coverage, release velocity and production health Enable the team in designing and developing automation harnesses using Ruby w/ Cucumber and SOA Test. Perform Automation requirement elicitation for Squad User stories in Agile projects on Kanban/Scrum boards Design, develop and implement automation solutions agreed with the customer from an end-to-end perspective including front-end, middle-tier services and back-end data providers of web, desktop and mobile applications Develop Test Automation components to promote maintainability, flexibility, extensibility and scalability Work on complex automation tasks to provide reusable solutions to the team Perform self-reviews, effectively debug and solve problems efficiently to successful completion of automation tasks Build Continuous Integration pipeline for the Squad team level Jenkins job and monitor Test Execution and conduct Test result analysis Partner with Lead SDETS, SDETS and Salesforce Developers to ensure application code quality through use of code reviews, automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) integrated with the Test Automation framework Work experience in interacting with Database and Service layers. Any Whitebox testing experience will be added advantage Understanding of APEX classes and Salesforce objects Ability to design Salesforce Pages using in-built components Qualifications A Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field 6 to 9 years of experience with designing and building Angular and webservice applications while incorporating test automation frameworks Working experience with: Selenium WebDrive   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
