Want to augment this person , with someone to jump and help with an analysis question – Be able to aggregate some of the data that is in their tenant into a report or summary table. Looking for someone fluent in SQL Understands NextGen tools like Jenkins and Scoop Understand Hive Queries (appliance specific quires looking to increase performance) Understanding of Customer Analytics best practices – help to identify projects This person going to get a stack or ad hoc projects that will show up as tables and summary reports, the base code of SQL Queries to share across the team. Doing SQL Development. Kind of stuck between bringing in a Big Data Engineer vs. a practitioners using some base tables already created. So ideally looking for someone with experience with NextGen tools but has a history in traditional tools so this person will understand how they want to continue these queries. Should come from an analytics background – dont need to have clickstream experience Background should be Heavy Data Engineering role supporting a customer analytics function Someone extremely fluent in SQL and experience with multiple environments Top Requirements: 8+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data science Experience with implementing business intelligence strategies and underlying data architecture Experience using Big Data Processing Technologies such as Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and/or Pig Experience working with complex SQL queries and ETL and mapping of different data formats Primary Responsibilities: Set and deliver the data strategy to scale the reporting and analytics efforts of the BI team. Help set the vision and drive data insights and opportunities for the digital product teams. Day to Day Functions: Design and implement data marts that enable analytics and semantic layers that drive BI tools. Source and structure the clickstream data feeds and call center data with offline data to drive scale across the lines of business via methods such as http GET and JSON APIs Work with complex SQL queries and ETL and mapping of different data formats Oversee the ETL process across staging area and improve reliability, efficiency, and quality of the data Create blueprints for big data tenant to integrate, centralize, protect and maintain data sources Conduct code reviews of teams Spark Streaming programs in Scala, Java, Python, and R Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data science 2+ years of experience in managing people and leading teams Experience working in a large, matrixed organization Experience working in modern data architectures designing and implementing data marts Experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating at all levels of an organization Experience with implementing business intelligence strategies and underlying data architecture Experience using Big Data Processing Technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and/or Pig Experience working with complex SQL queries and ETL and mapping of different data formats Preferred Qualifications: Inquisitive with a passion for data architecture design patterns and demonstrated ana   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
