GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for implementing automated DevOps and Cloud solutions within various line of business application teams. Will coordinate with core DevOps and Cloud team engineers to leverage their tools and services while providing enhancement feedback to continuously improve their offerings. Will collaborate closely with application team members within an Agile team structure. Facilitate accelerated delivery of application features into production. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analysis, design, building and maintenance of DevOps and Cloud-enabled applications Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams to develop SME on capabilities they provide Partner/embed directly with application teams adopting DevOps practices and Cloud computing Edify/train application team personnel on DevOps practices and Cloud concepts Partnering with key stakeholders across IT apps and ops teams Collaborating with architecture, risk, security, audit & ITSM personnel Contributing to the formation of emerging DevOps and Cloud best practices Assist with POC efforts for new DevOps and Cloud capabilities and tools as necessary Learning corporate standards and policies as well as understanding underlying rationale Provide assistance as necessary to support staff working on incident/problem remediation Troubleshoot technical issues as required Assume additional responsibilities as assigned KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable experience 5 years experience working on DevOps and Cloud solutions or comparable app development required Understanding of DevOps principles required Understanding of software development lifecycle stages required Understanding of IT operations, especially change & release management, required Understanding of ITIL service management principles a plus Proficiency with REST API and Webhook development a plus Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Groovy required Proficiency with Linux and windows shell scripting required Experience with git-based VCS required (GitHub a plus) Experience with build and dependency management tooling (Maven, Gradle, etc.) required Experience with binary artifact management tooling required (JFrog Artifactory a plus) Proficiency building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins required Knowledge of Java and .NET based application packaging, deployment and hosting required Knowledge of IBM z/OS mainframe based application packaging, deployment and hosting a plus Experience with SonarQube, ARA and APM tooling a plus Proficiency of cloud providers (AWS/Azure) and supporting technologies (OpenShift) required Experience with Automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible Tower, and Cloud Formation required Experience integrating with Test Automation tooling a plus Experience integrating with Secure Development tooling a plus Experience working with enterprise-level frameworks/services a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Excellent teamwork/collaboration skills required Experience working within Agile scrum methodology a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
