Job Description Developer: Tableau Desktop And Server, Jira, Excel, API Agile Scrum Methodology

Candidate must be our W2 Employee.
Note : This is exclusive to Apex Systems and the manager is looking to hire quickly.

Job Description :

Tech Stack:

· Tableau Server

· Tableau Desktop

· Jira (Atlassian)

· Excel Templates

· SharePoint (optional)


Project/Team/Role Details:

· Will work on a business process management transformation project for the Project Management Office (PMO).

· Team is identifying and mapping baselines for the cross functional matrix program. System of record is Jira/Excel.

· Data Enablement team takes the excel templates/spreadsheets extracts, scrubs and cleanses the data, normalizes it…

· Then aggregates it, puts it into a consumable format, and then moves it from desktop to dev to prod for Tableau to use.


Day to Day:

· Be the anchor for Tableau front-end development. Work with Tech PM, Program Manager and Product Owner.

· Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports of the Jira data using the excel templates and spreadsheets.

· Provide guidance and recommendations for which data models are best used for the various data visualizations.

· Be instrumental in automating the pulling Jira data extracts into Tableau via API/Web Data Connectors (WDC).

· May assist with building a repository in a staging database environment for the Tableau Self-Service solution.
