- Work on a large development project and provide estimates for ETL Development. - Provide application design and documentation that spans multiple applications and/or functions. - Participate and lead on complex projects with significant impact on IT and / or business. - Mentors offshore team members. - Prioritizes own work regarding the development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software. - Works with technical staff and business to understand problems with software and assist to resolve them. - Create software design specifications addressing the business requirements, utilizing the appropriate specifications and templates. - Service Now (or similar tools like JIRA, Remedy) ticket handling and problem ticket analysis. - On Call Support as required during the week ends and off hours. - Root Cause analysis for ETL job failures/Data issues raised by business. - End of Life system verification and upgrades. Perform regression testing and approve the overall upgrade or setup. - Knowledge of Relational and Dimensional data modeling, Star / Snowflake Schema. - Mentored and monitored offshore and onsite development teams with regular calls on the commonly raised issues and propose permanent fixes.
