Job Description : Title: QA Lead Length: 1 year contract (possibility of extension) Location: Houston, TX Description: •Act as Software Test Lead on an Agile Software Development Team ?Act as key point of Contact for issues pertaining to Software Quality ?Ensure project Team adheres to established Software Quality principles and Testing Standards ?Assure Testing Team is following Quality Management strategies and best practices ?Adhere to Testing Standards ?Ensure project Team understands Quality Concerns ?Provide objective assessment of Product Quality ?Provide Risk Assessment and Mitigation for assigned Products and Projects ?Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories ?Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Test Artifacts that satisfy Test Objectives and ensure sustainable product Quality including: ?Define Testing Objectives based on Acceptance Criteria ?Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria ?Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality ?Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing ?Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows ?Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define Cross Product Integration Scenarios ?Identify requirements for and solutions to Test Data creation ?Define, create and maintain Test environments ?Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories ?Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality ?Effectively leverage Test Automation to compliment Manual Testing efforts ?Define, implement and execute Test Plans during Development and Delivery phases of the project ?Adapt and communicate Test Plan to accommodate changes during project execution ?Schedule, monitor, measure, track and report Test Results and progress against the Test Plan ?Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion ?Track Bugs through resolution and implementation ?Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition ?Mentor Testers on Test Design, Testing, communication and Agile principles   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
