The first step of this is to create the actual Kafka messaging bus itself. To be eligible for this position you need to have experience with Kafka administration, and experience creating a bus/environment from the ground up is appreciated. A background in Linux/Unix will be helpful. The next two steps really need to happen in tandem. We will also need a Systems Admin/Engineer with Splunk experience. They will be in charge of moving data from both Splunk and Cloudera onto the Kafka message bus.
