Candidate MUST haveexceptionallyeffective communication skills in addition to proven experience to perform thefollowing duties: The following are day to day activities: • Manage the quality of BWC Web service offerings impacted by Web releases. • Create & execute functional test plans for Web Project releases. • Develop/maintain scripts and test plans to perform multiplefunctional/regression testing. • Track defects, analyze yieldedresults and provide recommendations and test execution status. • Assist with development of long-term QAsolutions, e.g. methodologies for functional testing, performance testingof functional tests. • Interact and communicate on all levels of project team: managers,analysts, developers, business leads and other support groups. • Manage test sessionsinvolving other support groups and the web team. • Identify and gather test data using SQL. Skills and Experience Needed: • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC. • Ability to assist on multiple medium/high complexity projects concurrently. • Ability to assist UAT Lead in coaching new Business users to perform User Acceptance Testing. • Ability to assist UAT Lead in effectively communicating/reporting User Acceptance Test status at weekly scrums with the various Program and Project Managers, Development Managers,Business Process Engineers, Business Sponsors and Subject Matter Experts. • Ability to adjust the User Acceptance Testing tasks/processes based on the experience of the Business Users. • Ability to obtain/verify the necessary testing artifacts are present should the project be audited. KEY skills and experience include: • Maintained and Reviewed Defect Backlog and Drive the prioritization efforts • Developing, creating, and executing test plans and test cases based on the Functional Requirements and technical specifications Other MUST HAVES: • At least 15years experience using various QA tools withthe ability to analyze results and provide recommendations based on previouslydetermined baselines is an absolute must: • Preferred working knowledge of TeamFoundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager (MTM). • Ability to quickly learnfunctionality & architecture of the application under test & its related legacy systems. • Abilityto quickly adapt to changes, enhancements, and modern technologies. • Ability to understandthe underlying infrastructure components and to write regression scripts to adapt tochanges in any of these technological components. • Ability to clearly and conciselydocument test plans and strategies. • Ability to develop test cases based on requirementsdocuments and conversations held with analysts, developers and other peripheral supportgroups like database, LAN, WAN and Network. • Experience with creating test cases andscenarios using a test case management tool(e.g.TFS). • Experience withlogging and managing defects using a defect management tool (e.g.TFS, etc.). • Experience with creating and maintaining automated test scriptsusing an automated testing tool (e.g. TFS, etc.).
