To provide assistance and support in the following areas:
1. Create and deploy software images to end-user equipment
2. Setup, configure and deploy end-user equipment including PCs, peripherals, and VoIP phones
3. Test and troubleshoot end-user equipment
4. Provide technical support for end-user desktop computer and phone equipment via phone and remote control.

Agency Expected Deliverables
The Department of Administration is seeking to retain a Service Desk Technician (SDT2) to assist the agency and its customers in configuring and deploying end-user equipment. This will include the decommissioning, disk scrubbing, packing and shipping of old equipment, and unpacking, setup, configuration, deployment, and testing of new equipment, including desktop PC, peripherals and VoIP phones. Some end-user training will also be required. This resource would be expected to be available at the departments main office location at 650 W State street in Boise, M-F between the hours of 8am and 5pm, and as needed for any after-hours work that may be required to support agency customers.


Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.)
1. Microsoft Windows 10 installation and configuration skills in an enterprise environment
2. Basic LAN/WAN skills to include setup and troubleshooting of network attached end-user equipment
3. Ability to install software and drivers in a Windows 10 desktop environment
4. Ability to troubleshoot Windows 10 operating system and third party software issues.
5. Ability to test end-user equipment for proper operations
6. Solid customer service and communications skills
