Job Description Engineer: Network Operating Systems, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP DNS VLAN Switches Firewalls Juniper

Description:

Specialize in network engineering in an enterprise environment. This role will provide Network operational support. The engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsibility network operations

Participate in projects as Network Engineering role includes Implementation, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design

Monitor and report metrics of network services

Document network operations "Run-Book”

Must be able to work occasional weekends and after hours

Qualifications:

6+ years of mid-size enterprise networking experiences in a highly regulated environment

Experience level knowledge of IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QOS, VLAN, ACL, and application data flow

Experience with implementation switches and firewalls

Experience with Juniper EX/QFX and PAN firewall.

Extensive experience with various tools such as WireShark, other Protocol Analyzer, and scripting

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Skills and Competencies:

Excellent organizational skills and solid team player

Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot

Excellent verbal, written, and communication

Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity
