Agency Project Scope (Description of Work Needed - Additional background check requirements are to be added here)
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) requires IT Network staff augmentation (three SDT1 resources – from a single IT services Contractor) to assemble, configure and deploy 96 personal computers (a mixture of desktop and laptop computers). All personal computers are a single manufacturer – Hewlett Packard (HP). DEQ will provide a standard image to install on each computer. The resources will customize each computer to match the assigned DEQ employees specialized software load, user files, and browser bookmarks; as well as installing the appropriate printer drivers, and adding each computer to the correct OU in DEQs active directory. Following configuration, the resources will physically switch out (deploy) computers at the corresponding DEQ employees desk. Employees receiving a new computer are located in the following DEQ offices: the State Office (SO), Boise Regional Office (BRO), Coeur dAlene Regional Office (CRO), Lewiston Regional Office (LRO), Idaho Falls Regional Office (IFRO), Pocatello Regional Office (PRO), and Twin Falls Regional Office (TFRO).

Assembly and configuration will all take place at the SO.

Deployment will begin with SO and BRO, and then continue into the other offices. The resources will meet one of DEQs IT technicians at each regional office and assist in deploying the computers (proposed schedule/dates included below). Deployment in the Northern Idaho and Eastern Idaho offices will involve travel to the cities of Coeur DAlene, Lewiston, Twin Falls, Pocatello, and Idaho Falls. The trips to Northern Idaho (LRO, CRO) and Eastern Idaho (IFRO, PRO, TWFO) will most likely require a full working week in order to ensure all planned deployments are completed. While deploying computers, the resources may be required to complete other SDT1 tasks for employees that have unresolved helpdesk errors and issues, however, the primary deliverable of this agreement will be the successful deployment of the 96 personal computers.

All activities under the agreement will be coordinated by the DEQ IT Network Staff, to ensure efficient delivery of all computers within the contract timeframe.

Planned Schedule:

March 15th-16th – Resources meet with DEQ IT Network Staff at the SO to receive appropriate training and project planning for the following Contract weeks. These will be 6-8 hour days.

March 19th-23rd – Resources will assemble and configure all 96 personal computers at the SO. These will be 6-8 hour days.

March 26th-30th – Resources will deploy 61 personal computers to the corresponding employees at the SO and BRO. These days will be 10-12 hour days.

April 2nd-6th – Resources will travel to Northern Idaho and deploy 13 personal computers to the corresponding employees at LRO (April 3rd) and CRO (April 4th-5th ). Travel days (2nd and 6th) will be 6-8 hour days, and deployment days (3rd-5th) will be 10-12 hour days.

April 9th-13th – Resources will travel to Eastern Idaho and deploy 22 personal computers to the corresponding employees at IFRO (April 10th), PRO (April 11th), and TFRO (April 12th). Travel days (9th and 13th) will be 6-8 hour days, and deployment days (10th-12th) will be 10-12 hour days.

April 16th-20th – This working week may or may not be needed to ensure the successful deployment of all computers.
The schedule outlined above is subject to change based on any unforeseen issues arising during the completion of the agreement tasks, or if impacted by the early completion of the agreement tasks.

The DEQ IT Technician will inform the resources of the daily schedule, keeping them ap
