Client wants someone that knows Avamar 7, well try to work around that. An EMC Partner is doing the architecting of the solution and the initial install of the software. Most clients are Windows based-very little Unix Heavily virtualized environment using VMWare. Resident will need to fully understand how to backup and recover this environment SQL and Exchange clients. Our partner will push some of the clients out but the resident will need to finish the client install and will need to be very comfortable backing up and recovering this environment Storage environment includes Isilon and VNX - resident needs to know NDMP backups Resident will manage day to day backup ops while customer staff goes to Avamar training. We need a solid hands on resource Resident will need to provide knowledge transfer and assist in setting up best practices The resident is walking into a relatively young environment and the will need to help move the customer to a steady state backup environment Need solid communication skills and confidence in their knowledge.
