Must have min of 5 years experience with the design and development of LoadRunner scripts. Peoplsoft and student system experience nice to have. 2. 2 to 3 years experience. Must have been a team lead or lead performance tester for a project. 2 to 3 years experience of performance testing with 2+ years testing large distributed web-based applications 3. Must have experience developing performance test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, defect resolution and performance analysis. 4. Have experience using QC, QTP in conjunction with LoadRunner. 5. Must have worked independently on and been solely responsible for designing, developing, executing and analyzing performance test scripts. * Proven working knowledge of performance testing methods, tools, and software testing best practices using HP suite (Quality Center, LoadRunner version 9.0, 10, or 11) * Strong verbal and written communications skills * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to identify and resolve conflicts within multi-functional team in remote locations * Firm knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Test methodologies * Proven ability to manage project deadlines, under tight and aggressive timelines, often with competing priorities and complexities * Ability to prioritize along critical path and meet project milestones and deliverable dates * Ability to understand and translate business requirements into performance testing requirements and scripts Responsibilities Under limited supervision, design and implement performance test cases as per defined non-functional requirements. Develop and unit test automated test scripts using performance test tools (LoadRunner 9.0 experience is a must) Conduct a wide range of system performance tests and analyze to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and defined nonfunctional requirements. Execute tests according to established plans and scripts. Document problems in tracking tool or similar, and retest software fixes to ensure problems are resolved. Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of performance test strategies. Develop/enhance performance workload distribution test models as per production transaction mix. Simulate number of concurrent users for load scenarios to determine response times and bottlenecks. Monitor resources and collect metrics during the tests in order to determine the impact of load/stress testing on the infrastructure. Identify and document bottlenecks or delays. Communicate test results and collaborate with other teams to identify issues needing more analysis and specialized expertise. 1. Requirements Analysis a. Ability to estimate peak load b.
