We have a 4-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior Mobile App Developer, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Work with program team to enhance the mobile app with push notification capability Meet weekly with and develop with the program team the push notification framework and software logistics for the mobile app – we value an iterative and inclusive work process with the acknowledgement that Council staff may need to get (higher) additional approval along the way Add introduction screen to NYS Parent Portal mobile app for parents to input their childs age and birthday month Add push notifications setting to NYS Parent Portal mobile app Generate push notifications (including pictures & videos) on app based on childs age and the information on the parent portal websites that corresponds with the age selected Develop a Backend or Database of push notification messages based on children aged 0 – 5 years old Develop ability for Council staff to edit app push notifications add (app store code i.e., SKD) to NYS Parent Portal mobile app to enable analytics in real-time Develop the app / back end to compile meta data from app users and additional user information (such as other apps on phone, etc.) Prepare sustainability plan for mobile app push notification maintenance Produce technical document for Council records and user guide for Council staff to maintain back end / edit push notifications Maintain user privacy and NYS security principles when building this capability for the NYS Parent Portal Mobile app Mandatory Qualifications: Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. 60-84 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
