Submission Deadline: 10/27/2018, 12:00 PM Start Date: 11/7/2018 End Date: 3/30/2019 Client: Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Description: Detailed Description of Services: The Workforce Modernization Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for providing on-site (including in the field) logistics, construction, facilities, equipment deployment and IT-related technical project support for the HASTUS software implementation. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and Assist with the rollout of equipment and implementation of Workforce Modernization Program (WMP) systems, including, but not limited to, the Daily Operations system and Bid system for Bus, Heavy Rail and Light Rail transportation district in HASTUS software. Review vendor provided plans and/or Draw up floor plans and construction plans for deployment sites. Develop working relationships with Authority approved vendors, Purchasing department, Authority Tradespeople, outside consultants, and project leadership to ensure deployment availability of resources and materials for project success. Drive a company or personal vehicle to visit work sites, assist in deployment of Authority computer hardware, and coordinate the transport equipment for projects and deployments. Ensure budgetary goals are met and that all work is performed in a timely and cost effective manner. Uphold the rights and interests of the Authority while building and maintaining an effective relationship with employees. Respond to each inquiry, whether from a customer, vendor or co-worker in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the Authoritys customer service quality standard. Perform related duties and projects as assigned Minimum Requirements / Qualifications: An Associates Degree from an accredited institution in Construction, Engineering, or related field. Three (3) years of experience in bus and / or subway transit operation preferred. Two (2) years of experience in vendor management, contract management, project management, and IT related technical project support. Drafting/CAD experience a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, quantitative, confidentiality, multi-tasking and time management skills. Strong computer and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The ability to comprehend, communicate and respond to instructions, orders, signs, notices, inquiries, etc. in English. Handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner. Have excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. The ability to provide internal and external customers with a courteous and professional experience.
