The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting and supporting UNCCs Windows server environment and the services supported through it. Provides high level systems support and recommendations for development and test system environments in support of active development efforts and ensures a smooth transition of applications between development, test, and production environments. Duties will include: • Primary areas of responsibility include Active Directory, Exchange 2010, assisting with migrations and day to day operations • Assists in developing and maintaining account creation and de-activation procedures • Delegating authority within a distributed OU management structure, modifying (extending) the AD schema to meet specific customer needs, managing GPOs • Administering the Exchange environments and working with various other Microsoft management tools within the AD domain infrastructure. • Create and maintain operations documentation as appropriate. • Working collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary structure Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required Qualifications: • BS Degree • MCSE Certification • Minimum of seven (7) years of administration and support of Enterprise Windows Servers 2000/2003/2008 environments as well as Exchange (2007/2010). • Custom AD scripting/automation of routine administrative tasks through the use of utility script development and application scripting technologies. • Experience writing VB script for management and automation of systems • Experience with Quest Software Tools for Active Directory management • Minimum of one (1) year of supporting VMWare ESX in an enterprise environment • Minimum of five (5) years with basic server hardware and technologies including RAID and SAN technology • Minimum of three (3) years experience in the deployment and administration of Active Directory in an enterprise environment as well as LDAP, OID and eDirectory • Extensive experience with MS SQL Server product families • Experience supporting current versions of Linux OS • Experience in the navigation and support of Microsoft operating system internals including Search, Registry, User Profiles and Permissions • Solid foundation of TCP/IP networks and the interrelation with Windows systems • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft security best practices and security models as they relate to a Microsoft environment. • Extensive experience with Windows File Sharing environments, quota assignments and permissions.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
