Job Description : Description: Systems Engineer 9 Month Contract Candidate can sit remote MUST Have: MDM (Mobile device management) 4-8 years of experience Client is building out and moving their platforms to MAAS 360 Experience building out platforms, writing scripts and working with MGM systems engineer Experience moving platforms from legacy systems Experience in a multi company locations Client Systems Engineers (CSEs) are responsible for analyzing, architecting, and engineering the enterprise desktop environment for Providence Health and Services (PH&S). The engineer develops and documents processes and procedures for implementing and maintaining the enterprise desktop. They perform product research and analysis and provide recommendations on technical solutions for the end- user computing environment that align with business goals and objectives. They provide the engineering to enable enterprise desktop and end-user solutions to accomplish strategic initiatives. Level 3 Subject Matter Expert CSEs work independently with little day-to-day supervision. They may provide leadership to individuals or a project team. This position must carry a device capable of receiving pages and be available during specified hours of coverage on a standby basis. Participate in team on call rotation. Must be able to travel by a variety of modes of efficient transportation to all PH&S sites within the scope of assignment. Develops and documents processes and procedures for implementing and maintaining the enterprise desktop. Analyzes and resolves complex business and/or technical problems within assigned discipline. Works with Senior Engineers, team leader, supervisor, manager, or director to evaluate vendor products for technical soundness and economic feasibility. Acts as first level of contact for escalated problem from customers, analysts, and Operations staff. Creates and maintains basic to moderately complex scripts and script components. Knowledgeable of scripting languages and fluent in the syntax of current scripting languages/tools used in a Microsoft client environment. Makes proposals to Senior Engineers for changes to existing scripting standards. Tests and integrates new hardware and software solutions into the PH&S client computing environment. Identifies problems with new and current hardware/software; recommends options to mitigate problems. Validates solutions develop by Senior Engineers. Troubleshoots moderately complex problems with Microsoft client operating systems and core operating system components (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer) in the business environment. Works with Senior Engineers to test and evaluate Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in a test environment. Makes proposals for Organization Unit design and implementation. Participates in workshops, project planning and training sessions for other IS disciplines. Supports Client Systems Engineers with project implementation. Identifies routine problems and applies analytical techniques to solve them. Interacts with customers as required to provide technical support and troubleshooting in response to specific customer requests and problems. Utilizes established procedures, processes, and tools to assist in the creation of new images for desktops and laptops. Assists in the development of role specific builds for client devices. Implements and sustains robust endpoint security solutions for client systems. Works with Security Engineers to identify security issues for client systems and develop solutions.
