ROLE The selected candidate will evaluate our clients existing testing processes; make recommendations based on best practices and proven testing methodologies; and will ultimately be responsible for maximizing the productivity and quality of the clients software testing efforts. DELIVERABLES Lead testing efforts across a product line made up of specialized manufacturing software; machine controllers; and machine HMIs. Evaluate current testing processes. Recommend best practice testing processes. Work with engineering team to produce future design timelines. REQUIREMENTS 8 plus years of software testing experience. Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with .NET (C#), Win Forms, or C++ with MFC. Experience with Windows Sockets and TCP/IP protocols. Additional experience with USB or CAN-based protocols is preferred. Good communication skills for interfacing with other design group, end users, and customers along with technical writing skills for creation of instruction manuals. Experience with user interface design and the ability to create simple intuitive interface methods.
