Knowledge and Skills: 3 to 5 years experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) C, Pro*C One or more years experience with MMIS/Medicaid applications Ability to work with Web-development tools for new applications. Basic Understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., OO). Experience on one or more full release project life cycles. Develops, plans and adheres to scheduled weekly releases to production environments Strong understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management). Basic understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies. Demonstrated experience working in a batch type environment Prior demonstrated experience in researching, assisting and developing technical and business solution designs to critical business needs Ensures adequate and timely coverage to 24X7 production support requirements including on-call support Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio). Strong understanding basic Database Administration. Able to apply consistently quality and security standards. Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
