Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced IIB Developer to join the team and assist with production support working alongside third party sources. Theyre specifically targeting individuals who have the ability to analyze why process failed and where those instance occurred.



IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Developer (Integration Developer)
Vernon Hills
12+ months


5 years hands on development (not an admin)
Integration background working with 3rd part systems
- Ability to analyze why process failed and where it occurred
- Able to monitor transactions

Primary Skills:
IIB/ACE, IBM MQ


Secondary Skills:
Webservice, JSON, API Knowledge, Database experience

Working with leads and architecture teams


Integration Developer Job Description:

Strong development experience in developing integration applications and message flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Websphere MQ (WMQ).
In depth knowledge of ESQL language, ESQL Functions, Message flows and Message sets.
Experience working with various type of nodes in IIB/ACE like MQ Nodes, HTTP Nodes, SOAP Nodes, File Nodes, Compute Node, Java Compute Node, Filter Node, Routing Nodes etc.
Experience in developing REST APIs, HTTP and SOAP Web services in IIB/ACE.
Experienced working with various databases like SQL Server, AS400 and Mongo DB.
Perform deployment activities like bar override, bar deployment, configurable services, MQ and Work Load Management policy creation etc.
Good knowledge on WebSphere MQ – working with Queues, topics and subscriptions.
Experienced in handling various message formats like JSON, XML CSV etc.
Adequate knowledge in understanding and implementing Java code.
Any knowledge on SI, SFG, APIGEE and any other API management tool is a plus.
Support PROD issues and root cause analysis.
Poses good problem solving and analytical skills.
