Description: The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. This role will have significant collaboration with business partners, multiple IT teams and third-party vendors. The portfolio includes SaaS and hosted packaged applications such as Workday, Cornerstone, ADP, SmartRecruiters, ServiceNow, and many others. The ideal candidate will be able to easily understand business goals/requirements and be forward thinking to identify problems that may be effectively resolved with technology solutions. Additionally, this position provides 8x5 application administration and user support services; working primarily with business users to provide technical support and coordinate timely and effective resolution to questions and issues associated with the HR Systems integrations. Education/Experience o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. o A minimum of 5 years of experience in application administration, development and support o A minimum of 3 years of experience with SaaS and externally hosted HR solution management o Experience with Workday EIB integrations, Inbound and Outbound, Workday Studio integrations.(Workday Development Preferred) Responsibility level o Exercises minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required) o Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required) o Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Preferred) o Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly o Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users.
